We are delighted to announce that second-year PhD
student Nicholas Treuherz, supervised by David Adams (French) and Judith Purver
(German), has gained the prestigious William Robson-Scott Travelling
Scholarship, awarded by the Institute of Germanic and Romance Studies at the
University of London, to assist him with a research visit to Germany in
connection with his research on French exiles in Enlightenment Germany and the
spread of atheism between 1685 and 1789.
Many congratulations to Nicholas!
